A Return to the Airwaves

I have decided, that after a much needed break from the podcasting world, it is time for a return to the airwaves. I have been absent to focus on school and on my life in general and it has helped a lot. But now, I'm back. And I'm ready to once again play some great music each and every weekend. I hope that if you are reading this, you have found my page through another source and are a person who enjoys great indie music and interesting conversation. I will attempt to not bore you, as I talk about the latest news that's been tickling my fancy and making me drool with anticipation of new products, services and whatever else I'm craving at the moment. Check out the links to the right on this page and see what I'm seeing, and listen to what I'm listening too.

I'm officially back in the internet. I'm writing this from my own computer at home!!!! Yeah!!! Sorry for the excitement, it's just that having internet at home is awesome now. For someone who basically lives online, three weeks away has been crazy. I've been going through withdrawls. The only fixes I could get were from work. But those were to far between (meaning like more than 2 hours away from the internet :-p ).
I will be coming out with Episode #6 on Saturday. It will be a rather long one since I will be sticking in all the music I've wanted to play for the past three weeks. I've been sticking stuff on my PMN playlist everyday at work and am phening to play them all. Maybe I'll cut it down a little and spread it out over the whole weekend, but no promises.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posting and the lack of shows as of late. I have just moved into a new apartment and will be without internet for the next week or so. I'm posting this from work. There's a slight chance that I'll put up a intermediate episode by recording at home, tossing the mp3 on the iPod and uploading here at work. Not sure. but be sure that as soon as I am able, you'll have another amazing episode of great tunes from the Podsafe Music Network, most likely a very long episode.

I was able to download the Beta version of Ubercaster on Monday. I gotta tell ya, I'm fairly excited because this will allow me to actually record live, rather than piecing things together with Garage Band. I'm still going to have to use Podcast Maker to upload (the Beta version doesn't do FTP) and to create the updated xml files for the feed, but this is going to be good. The show for Saturday might be a little rough, so stick with me.
Click here if you want more info about Ubercaster.

BTW: Everybody needs to check out Podshow+. It is most definitely the best way to discover new podcasts and the people that create them.

I have got to get a schedule worked out better for the Sunday show. I'll post one later today, prolly later tonight. I'm going to start recording on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons so that I can have both done before Sunday rolls around. Just way to damn busy.
